[semi-serious] What do you all think about consumerism and simple living?

We should simply be allowed to consume more booze.

My *life* is fairly simple... although I do have some decent technology involved. I'm not a worrier... I just live life however I feel like it.

I'm bothered by the fact that I have surrounded myself with all kinds of crap. Ten years ago, when I moved to this state, all my belongings fit into a small Toyota hatchback (plus a computer that got shipped). Now I couldn't move with anything less than a LARGE moving van. Yet everything I have was purchased with considerable thought (sometimes even correct thought) as part of one of my hobbies/activities. I'd like to live leaner, but it's hard to see exactly where to cut back. On the other hand, I live below my means, and am pouring money into savings, so I'm better off than the average American anyways.

Apple is my favorite. Cherry can be too sweet.
