Or you could do it here[Edited by MartinLiss]. :afrog:
I haven't got any responses about this :(
I was really hoping for some help from some of you great gurus :)
What kind of FAQ? I suppose I would be interested if I could be of any help.
Is there a particular reason for these FAQs to be at CodeGuru, rather than here?
We can link from either site to the other, but it would make more sense to me if they were on our VB site.
I presume they will be on a similar line to our Classic VB FAQs, and I had thought about doing a VB.Net version - but I'm already in charge of two other sets (Classic VB and Database), and don't really have enough .Net experience!
Thank you for your interest guys :thumb:
I was thinking more in the lines of collaboration. I have tried for ages getting help on FAQ's both for VB.NET as well as VB6 over at CG ( where I am most of the time ). Sad to say, response was very limited. I don't have enough time to write all the FAQ I want, and I can't write about all topics, I am only one man.
I was hoping just for a few FAQs, just something - anything that could help. from my side I'll try to help with CodeBank stuff here.
Yes, this is mainly a VB site, but CG also has a VB section, and a lot of people don't know about vbforums, and this side, a lot of people don't know about CG.

 there are other code forums:eek:
We've already got a VB.Net section in the DB FAQs containing some articles, so that's a start - feel free to link to them (from CG and/or here).
Based on my experience of creating the VB6/DB FAQs here, it seems that you don't need too much to get people joining in - just a few articles and an Index page linking to them (in categories), and making them known by using a link to the Index page in response to apt questions.
I've had a quick look at the FAQ section on CG, and it seems hard to very use - mainly because of the index pages not linking to the articles. Due to the age of the index pages, I guess it would be harder to spread the word, as existing members will naturally ignore them.
It is and the site is just plain awful. What sort of topics are you looking for though?
