Shared Segment explanation (Need Help!!!)

I want to know about Shared Segment and using That from vb6.For Exp: We inject a Dll that compiled with vc6 with shared segment how we can use the value in the shared segment(this value comes from another process that we inject our Dll )! please explain how it's possible and how we can protect from that.i saw 2-3 topics in this forum but i need something to explain me clearly. i have a little skill in vc6.Thanks for your helping:wave:
