Bill Gates knows. (Language asin C#, VB, etc.) I mean does he know them all? or does he know a bit of each? Or does he know none at all? Maybe hes more of a hardware man than a software man.

Bill Gates is the reanimated corpse of Walt Disney. He only knows the Fuhrer's German and a little Pascal.

But I have no opinion either way.
He's fairly proficient in some old ASM instruction sets.. thats about it. I don't think even he knows how his own software works these days.

You guys reckon he is computer literate?
Just kidding. :afrog: I think the man might know more than we think, though no-one would know for sure.
I heard him confess there was one point (decades ago) when he was refused to be allowed to program cause his skills had waned and the geeks he employed surpassed his coding ability.
i wouldn't be surprised. i would think it takes more of a businessman, rather than a compuer genius, to come up with a solid buisness plan.Quote:

From what I remember, Bill Gates was a very good businessman with revolutionary marketing techniques and has a sixth sense of taking the good stuff from existing software and turn it into something that NORMAL people can actually use. In short, give the consumers what they really want.
It's just like my boss(the president of a software company), he is a very shrewd businessman with very cunning Marketing strategies, and talks about parts of our process like a pro and it sells. We get lots of clients from just about everywhere, asking for just about anything. However, that's where his expertise ends because one day, he reported a major crash of his computer. After weeks of investigation by a specialized team, it was found that the president actually deleted the Program Files folder because his C drive was full.
I guess he was an .EXE AX-tor fan.
haha. I suppose as technology advances, I think people are going to HAVE to become more literate with PC's
Unless they use Vista in which case a full frontal lobotomy is actually listed under "System Requirements".
I wonder if he knows what DOS stands for?
