Yes, this was also brought up about the C++ highlight tags.
See this Forum Feedback thread. :)
That is something that we are aware of (partly due to the thread Hack linked to), and will be fixed at some point - but unfortunately not as soon as we would like, because the corrections to the Highlight tags are being done by a moderator on a voluntary basis (so will only happen as his free time allows).
The vBulletin Code Parser i posted in my first post (in the link provided by Hack) is probably the best solution i have seen for that problem so far. Very easy to use as well :D
Yep...sure is.Quote:

Two birds with one stone nice :)
Was just wondering the Third Party control (The Highlight Tag) has the problem been fixed? But the version of the control just doesn't work with the current vBulletin version?
It's not a problem with the highlighting algorithm, it's a bug with the vBulletin adapation, which hasn't been updated by its author.
I was the one working on the tag for this site and so "when time allows" the issues (highlighting line numbers; nested BB code not working; copy and paste producing blank lines; left bracket to entity encoding; many keywords uncoloured) will be fixed.
What about something along the lines of this: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=254418
Even I reckon our current "Code" Embbeding system is dated and outright UGLY!

EDIT: OMG! SO SORRY FOR BUMPING THIS THREAD!!! Didn't realise it twas' this old!
We will be migrating to new servers soon (within a month). At that time we will be upgrading to a newer version of vBulletin. Until then, we aren't likely to add new add-ins or make any big changes.
Once we make the move (which will be clear because the newest version is a little different), feel free to bring this issue back up.
Brad!
ok :) i really like that plugin and use it on my site, just suggesting it tho coz the current one sucks! :)
