Enable/Disable USB port in CMOS Setup

cmos is by its nature read-only. It's actually a program that has it's own dedicated ram. While it is technically possible to edit the cmos data, as it is stored in the exact same place the cmos program itself is, this is extremely dangerous, and almost impossible to do from windows in the first place. It usually requires a custom boot-disk and a flash program, although some of the newest motherboards it can be modified from windows. These motherboards contain two bios areas however, and it is no problem to write to one while reading from the other.

It is also useless to change the setting from windows for a port anyway. The configuration wouldn't change until after reboot, and in any case you could simply go into device manager and disable any hardware you don't want to work in windows. This is much easier (although by no means easy)
