Problem Openning VB6
Hello,
I have vb6 installed for about 9 months now and when ever I wanted to use it everything seemed just fine until last week. When I tried starting VB6 and as soon as the opening screen comes a pop up appeared with:
Title of pop up: Visual Component Manager
In the Bubble has i
Message: Subscript out of range
Not knowing how to resolve this message from poping up I uninstalled VB6 and and re-installed it and everything became normal.
Now from yesterday the same exact thing is hapenning and the same pop up is coming back again.
I want to know what it is and why it is poping up and how to resolve it and how to prevent it from coming up again ever in future.
Thanks a LOT in advance.

Re: Problem Openning VB6
Visual Component Manager is an AddIn. Try unloading and setting it as not loading during startup.

Re: Problem Openning VB6
RobDog888,
Thanks for the answering. Can you please tell me what it is? and if it is all needed during the project development then how do I make use of it if it is not loaded?
Also why do you think that all of a sudden I started getting this error?
I normally click on the Add-Ins at the top and go to Visual Data Manager to access the data base for my application very often. Will this stop me from going to the data base for any reason?
Once again thanks in advance.

Re: Problem Openning VB6
The Vis Component manager is separate from he Vis Data manager. Have you tried access your db via VDM yet?

RobDog888,
I am sorry I didn't get what you mean by VDM. Did not hear this term before I guess.
