Its just because you are using a third part control/reference library. Just clicking on OK should be safe for ESRI. Dont check the box and click OK as that will make it permenantly marked as independant. Wouldnt want that unless you were definately 100% sure it is independant.
Not only that.. There have another object dependency. For example at the list in the attach file. I found that, this object I used in my program because I use Microsoft access database. When I search, the file located at the correct location
Again, click OK and proceed with the setup package creation.
Run it on a test box before you roll it out to ensure your setup package is working as it should.
Hi Hack, Why I got that dialog?Just want to know.
I'm sure some setup experts can tell you. Everytime I've got it (which is just about everytime I've ever used the P&D Wizard), I just clicked OK and went on my merry way.
ADO 2.7 shouldnt be poping up in the list. Did you make sure you are using the latest exe with your latest vbp?
How to make sure it? I am using Windows Xp service pack 2.As far as I know, I am not having problem while using ADO 2.7 in my program.Quote:

Most COM libraries should come with a .DEP file, but some either don't or they get misplaced. Others don't get properly updated.
The P&D Wiz looks at these to determine what DLLs each of your program's dependencies might in turn be dependent upon. If it can't find a .DEP file it will complain. If the .DEP file is out of date (doesn't match the DLL/OCX's date) it will complain.
How to update *.DEP ?
In the starting of the P&D Wiz you have 3 choices. When you choose "Package" and select your vbp file it will prompt you to choose either a "Standard Setup Package" or a "Dependancy File".
