So whats all the fuss about? The new vehicles are fun, its a lot prettier but there's nothing gameplay-wise that's any better.
Meh.

Nothing can beat half life 2
@wossname- I didn't find the graphics all that great tbh. When you look at it up close, it's quite blocky.
@AR- Seen Portal?
Yes, portal pwns.
It's blocky because it isn't being computed at 720 res... If memory serves me, it's actually computed at 640 and upscaled by the TV...
Halo 3 sucks because on 2 player, it takes it out of widescreen.

It seems memory actually serves me perfectly.
I can't remember the last time my memory failed me.
It was the first time you used Windoze.
Halo 3 is ok but its dated before it was even released. Graphically its not that good (not bad but not top of the range). You would expect more from a multi billion pound franchise. Gameplay hasnt changed one bit, some would say that good but I would just say its pathetic for its price tag.
Half Life 2 Episode 2 is brilliant and its alot cheaper. Its a bit short but the plot and graphics are absolutely brilliant :D

I don't like episodic stuff either because it takes way too long to get the story out since you get a couple hours every 2 years and in the end, you end up paying more for less content. However, the nice thing about episodic releases is that the story and releases are usually very well polished because of the enormous amount of time that the developers have to work on the game.
The episodes do make the best games around due to that polishing but just making it a bit longer would make it sooo much better :p
Maybe they should spend about 6 years working on 3 episodes, then combining them into a single release. This way, you don't finish the game within hours of buying it.
What a silly suggestion.
Very well. I believe that they should spend 2 years on creating a demo of Half Life 2 Episode 3 and sell that along with a cinematic version of the trailers for the demo.
Now you are just be wantonly obtuse.

There is no need to protract the abuse.Quote:

I think it would have been a little easier if they let you invert the X coordinate along with the Y coordinate. The camera in 3rd person games is always controlled like that and so maybe it would be easier for some people to use that instead.
It might just be a matter of you getting used to the controls. After all you're practicing initially so that it becomes second nature to you. So you obviously didn't play long enough.
Although I personally prefer a PC myself.
PC is better, but Halo is one of the first shooters to pull off decent controls on a console.Quote:

If it beats Half Life 2, then it's worthy of something, if not a lot of things.
Detachable mounted weapons have been around in FarCry for 2 years (or more?)
Not more than 2 years. There were no video games before that.
Half life 2 rocked and still does. the Halo series is poo poo in contrast :afrog:
