Hight Media Webpage

All,

We are going to be releasing a new website at my company, the website will be focused on our software packages and we have decided it will be highly media based (ie lots of videos and demos) Now there has been alot of hype about Silverlight, anyone got any thoughts of the bets way to develop this kind of page, should we be looking at silverlight? (we will be using asp.net)

I don't think Silverlight has any sort of market penetration yet. I would use Flash instead. I don't know how well it plays with ASP.NET, but if you restrict its use to presenting the media on the site rather than building the whole site in it then you should be fine.
