[2005] Add sreenshot to post

I have an error message that I have as a screen shot that I would like to add to a post to get some feedback. How can I do this?

I was just wondering how to add a screen shot.I see now that you can add an amage but it is through a url. I thought there was maybe a way to just copy and paste one in. thanks anyhow.

Yes and no. You can copy the screenshot and paste it in MS Paint. Save it to your filesystem. Then when replying to a post using the advances reply page you can click the button named "Manage Attachments". This is where you can upload your screenshot file and attach it to your reply. No external image hosting necessary. We store the attachments on our server within our forum software.

Umm, where is the image you want to attach? On a webserver somewhere or in your file system?

We also have a testing forum for testing out and learning the features of the sites software. :)

It is on my file system, do not have the luxury of having a server. Will have to check out the testing forum.

If it is one your system, then you can do what Rob suggested in Post #6 with the Manage Attachments.

I appreciate all the advice and will test out the suggestions, participating in these forums is new to me and they all have different sets of rules and conditions.
If it is of any interest I am doing an internship at one of the Big East universities for my Bachelors degree in Software Application Development. Unfortunately the base of our knowledge at the college I am attending is 3/4 tier development for business applications using Access as the database so they can be stand alone apps. We touched on SQL Server but only enough to create apps that could be either use Access or SQL Server as the database.
The skillsets are the same basically but a lot of what I am attempting to do is all related to file systems, processes and network connections and we never really got into any of that at school so it is all new to me. Unfortunately the person who is managing my internship for .net is also the System Architect and with school getting ready to kick off doesn' have a lot of free time.
So I appreciate all the help and suggestions I receive in this and all the other forums I use. Where would us beginners be without you experts.
