This is odd... just started happening a couple minutes ago, and it's across every VBF page I hit... any reasons?

It is happening to me on firefox so it isnt a specific browser or computer error.
nevermind.. seems to be fixed now...
I wish they would tell me when they are going to make template changes to the forum.....
The bar will be back. You are correct -- it wasn't rendering correctly. They have it closer to correct on Codeguru's forum (but not quite). They have it correct -- for what they are trying to do on Codeguru's main site.
Expect it to come back, but hopefully with the rendering correct :)
Brad!
IE6 is okay.
The ribbon is back off right now. Joe is likely working to figure out what the issue was and will repost it when it is fixed.
Brad!
why have they decided to put it there, it is....errr... ugly if you will...
It's part of the overall branding for the Internet.com network.
Anyone know why every time I load a page containing that menu my browser asks me if I want to open my VPN connection to work? It happens on both VBF and CodeGuru, and Internet.com itself, but not on sites without that menu. The only other times I've seen that prompt was when there was an issue with my ISP and something failed to download via my regular ADSL connection, so it was trying to find another connection over which to download the requested item.
Well hopefully Monday the developers will be back to work on it.
CG's menubar is displaying correctly now and that is how its supossed to look on vbf.
Not sure why they left a partial new "feature" in place on a production website but...
Do you have your connection settings set so it dials another connection first when the default on is not available? If so try turning it off with selecting the "Never dial a connection" and see if that helps.
Thanks Rob. Should have known that. Thought it already was. Brain in weekend mode. Must eat chocolate and lie down.
Not sure why but on CodeGuru it loads fine. The size seems to play some role in what is occurring, tell me if i am wrong? Does it look like that for anyone else using Firefox?

Sorry for the small images dial-up :p
Sorry for those of you who can't see it i am talking specifically about the back color (black) why it barely goes half way behind the search box then stops. It doesn't seem right to me.
Yes, its all jacked up on VBF but hopefully they will fix it soon. I know they know about it so its just when they get back in on Monday I guess.
well now that i see the one on cg, i can see that it is not supposed to be ugly.
I will allow you guys to keep it there. next time just ask ;)

The internet.com menubar is displaying correctly. The devs must have just fixed it. Looks good. :thumb:
Ps, no more incorrect page width either as it was just over the 100% causing a horizontal scrollbar to appear. Its gone now too.
Now if we can just get the page load delay to resolve we willbe in good shape. :)
ah looks great now.
