"Illegal Drugs" LOL
Is this your home or work computer?
home computer. The blocker checks it through a database.
Just contact the database provider and explain. Some scum spammer has probably got VBF put on there with his viagra emails. Send them a link to here and they should take VBF off their list fairly quickly. It happens a lot. :(
i am not sure what database they use.
It doesn't say when you get the message that you are blocked. Should be something like Spamhaus or one of the others. Post what you get and I'll have a look at it.
there is a link that says "Report Block" and i click it, and it just sends me to a form where i am supposed to put in an email and a message. THe message goes to the email i entered. I dont know who i am supposed to send it to
Can you post the URL for the form?
Does this forum have a shoutbox or something similar?
it is on my other computer so i dont have access to it right now. I will get back at ya with that though
What "blocker" do you have running?Quote:

Go to the "report it" link and tell them they are reporting a programming forum as selling illegal drugs and we should be off their databases within 24 hours. Send them a link so they can investigate for themselves unless we have some back room that I am not aware of yet. Childsafe is just a service that probably uses a number of established databases to make it's decisions but they should pass on the information or at least give you somebody to contact. Their website gives only snailmail adresses.
Found it! Sent them a message. We have ticket number #693-2678956 Unfortunately as soon as you come up with one way to get around the spammers they come up with two more to get around you. It is life on the Net.
what is the url to check the ticket?
Here it is http://support.webroot.com/ics/suppo...cketID=2678956 Just remember that some of you are just waking up while the rest of us are going to bed. Give them a bit of time before we abuse them.
yeah, i know. Thanks for your help, and for submitting the ticket. It wont let me see them because it wants me to sign up, so, you can just tell me how it goes.
Thanks!
