Go to User CP > Edit Options and change whatever you wish.
Dear Rhino,
I could not able that enabling option
Dana
Are you trying to do it for someone else? If so you can't.
Tell your friend to go to the UserCP and click Edit Options. Make the check box I've circled is checked. Then he can receive PMs.
@Hack: what is up with the Title bar of IE? "Microsoft Internet Explorer Provided By Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI"
That's probably where he works.
If that is so, how would that occur? How would there be custom program titles?
It's probably a part of installation for commercial customers.
ah. well that would make sense. Thanks marty :)
You can set this yourself:Quote:

This can also be set when creating a custom version of Internet Explorer using the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK).
hmm. i have never heard of anyone doing that.
Let's try and stay on topic yeah? :)
Ok . Now on the topic. This is what he has got.
Your mate should have received an email from VBForums with an account activation link in it. He needs to follow that link in order to be able to use most of the forum features.
yeah, something doesnt look quite right about that picture. lots of things are missing
Why not tell us (or me via PM if you like) what his member name is?Quote:

Ah, yes. I wrote him and let's see if he responds.
I just sent another email to him with an activation code. He is using a 'public' email account, so if he doesn't see the activation email, he should look in the bulk/spam folder. He should also add webmaster -AT- VBForums.com to his contacts in his mail program so that future emails don't go to the spam folder.
The email should have been sent within minutes of this post, so he can use that time stamp to help find it.
Brad!
danasegarane, if he doesn't get Brad's email (he didn't respond to mine), could you send Bard or me his email address?
Dear Martin,
Thanks for ur efforts. I told him to see his email for validation code.
I will confirm him and reply
