three issues browsing the forum with images disabled.
Issue 1: If we have images turned off while browsing, there is no text notification on control panel for the rating gems we earn from ratings.
Issue 2: If we have images turned off, each gem a person has turns in to 2 or 3 lines of text. So robdog888's rating (for example) fills a whole page up.
Issue 3: The quickreply doesn't have a combobox (or other) to choose colors with. It is evidently image-based.

3) Quick Reply isn't supposed to be fancy. Just a basic reply mechanism but there is a font color button.

turn off images and look at it. Note that these might be Firefox issues only.
Re: three issues browsing the forum with images disabled.
If you choose to set your browser to not display images, then you are asking that most things go crazy. The forum software expects a certain number of images to be displayed, so the answer is.... don't turn of the images in your browser.
If you want to reduce images on this forum, you can turn off the message image value, signatures, and avatars. You can do this by going to the User CP and then selecting (or unselecting) the options on that page.

Re: three issues browsing the forum with images disabled.
well i suppose i could do that, and set my browser to allow images on this page.
That would still load the major graphics at the top of the page. Not everyone uses high-speed.
But frankly everything else works fine with images off. It looks like it was designed to work both ways. It just seems that there is a missing text link in the quick reply for the font color.

We really wouldn't want you to miss all the great ads on this site! After all, they are what pay for the electric bill on the servers ;)
