Hi, and first of all welcome to the forums
The forum is divided in sections.
The thing you're asking is a project request and so belongs in the project requests section.
If you are trying to do it yourself, you can search the forums first, let's say webcams.
The following thread might be relevant to your question:

For a chat application there are many ways to work out a connection scheme; eg. the messages go through a server, or by direct connection.
Do you have any kind of plan?
Hi, Thank you very much for your advice. I am really serious to buy an existing chating software that supports video and audion..infact we already have an existing chating program but the only thing that we need is to add video and audio... my boss wants to buy this software.
Please advice.
Thanks,
Roy Pepito
What software are you going to buy.
Hi...
Is this program intended to be used on a LAN environment or over the Internet, LAN is the easiest as the bandwidth is not such an issue which makes the audio part allot easier as there will be no encoding required (but would be better), the video part is quite easy and I already have some basic source code for this...
What about contacts, if this is a lan based system would it be acceptable to use the computer names or IP address? Other wise a server applicaiton will be needed to track Contacts names to their IP address ect, which could be used in both a LAN and Public environment...
I am quite keen to be a part of this project, please reply to
[email protected]
Thanks...
But I think roypp2 is taking about a chatting system far away from a LAN.
