Can anyone give me any tips on using/accessing the Winsock API? Is there a good tutorial already online. I've tried vbapi.com and fail to find anything so far on vb-world.com, vast as it is.

Can anybody convert that above code to a class/DLL that can be used similarly to a WinSock control?? I'm in great need for this!!!
Pls help (my ignorance is obvious). I copied the "in a module" portion into a module ("module1") and the "in a form" portion into a form ("UserForm1") with a text box (name = Text1, Multiline=True). I then created the following sub in "module1":

When I execute this sub, the form pops up, but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? If it matters, I'm using VBA (Excel) as opposed to VB.
