Which programming language has the biggest scope in the next 3 years?
I voted for the "Other" because C# and VB.Net are equally the same and they both have equally magnificent future.
Poll rather belongs to General Developers forum.
Move to General Developer
VB.NET for sure.
I went with other for the same reason that RhinoBull did. Most people seem to think that C# will have a greater presence than VB, too, so just saying VB.NET seems insufficient.
Please vote!
I voted for "Other" for 2 reasons:
1) As stated by RB. and
2) With the advent of new technologies every year, you need to keep updating yourself. Relying on the future of a language seems idiotic. What will you do if VB.Net or C# or both become(s) absolete by 2008??
Yes Mr. Harsh Gupta You are absolutely correct.Thats the point what i was trying to explain to my cousin brother. He is insisting me to do some professional course from niit or good institution. rather than bca. I had sent u a private message. i hope u got it. Please reply to that message.
Your so called VS Orcas LINQ or what ever microsoft calls it now is planned of release in 2008 with wonderful features that Java implemented a year ago in version 6.0
The next version of java is on release plan this September and your dear Microsoft (for sure) will steal a couple of ideas to surprise it's users.
Not many features. but just what their guys get to understand
I personally don't like when people are bashing on Microsoft - company that really employs half of the civilized world (directly or indirectly).
If you [ComputerJy] are in love so much with Java what are you doing in such a Microsoft oriented board?
Just like you said. "employs half of the civilized world".Quote:

One thing I forgot to mention just to be fair.
.NET runs faster on windows (Most used OS) and its more visually appealing
