[RESOLVED] Force wide list in combo

I'm not sure this is possible in VB6 but it's worth asking. I have a combo box that contains a list that is wider than the control itself. This is done to give the user a bit more information about each choice to help them make the desired selection. Is it possible to have the dropdown list wider than the control in order to hold all the info? Once chosen, I strip the unnecessary info so the choice fits the combo control.
