I created a program using the winsock on my home pc and I
want to use it at work but it will not connect. I am on an NT network.
I assume I have to go through a proxy server, but I do not know how
to do this. Internet Explorer uses an automatic configuration script.
How can I connect?
Can anyone help?
Some more info would be helpful, like home vs. work configurations, what are you trying to connect to, etc.
But, assuming that you do have to go through a proxy, have you searched these forums for "proxy server"? Perhaps this thread that I found in my search will point you in the right direction.
