I was thinking about running up an irc server at home. Although i could leave it on 24/7, but i was really thinking about running up 'scheduled' sessions. I have enough bandwidth to enable a decent gathering.
Anybody fancy it.

(and before you say it, if anybody tries any funny business, i'll just pull the plug ;-)

I never think if I can help it. Sounds OK but I can only ever do late.
Cheers,
P.
You up for a beer Friday?
-
Cool, i'll leave it on most of the time.
For those of you who don't no, mIRC is a cool client thats free (shareware) - http://www.mirc.com
If i get some more interest, i'll run up a server tonight.

Not tonight, Josephine - kids have Chicken Pox - don't think it is transmittable by IRC, but you never know...
Cheers,
P.
We should get Katie involved, deffo.
-
Hehe...she'll use up all your bandwidth like she used up John's in the post race...oh wait...that was both of us!
Move over peeps, the Katie and parksie juggernaut is coming through!

Ok.
I have a server up and running.
You can join connect on ip 62.137.133.178
I've created a channel called #VBWorld, but you can create whatever you want. (John, hope you're not upset with the channel name ;-_
All are welcome.
Please don't try and hack the box or i'll just pull the plug.

Sounds like fun...oh...it is (already there!).
Come on then - me and td are sitting waiting :)

I can't seem to get in....am I doing something wrong?
-

incase you need to get in, and you don't know how...
open mIRC, and click "Add" where it says the servers.... type a name for the connection, and click Ok, then type in your nickname and stuff..... then click connect....
then after you're connected, type
/join #VBWorld
and hit enter...
