Simple Trig, Algebra, etc.
Hey, Just finished my maths exam and I was wondering if anyone would like to give some of the questions a go so I know which answers I have got correct and it will give me a rough idea of my results.
I'll just mention that a calculator can be used but don't use too advanced math. It is standard grade, credit level here in the uk. Basically the tests that 15-16 year olds take. Try and post the working too if possible.
You don't need to attempt all questions. This will be very simple for most of the people in this forum anyway.
Thanks to anyone who shows interest.

Nice try, this time not even the question has been pasted or even entered word by word. We just get a .jpg and shall do your homework.....
If it was your exam, cool down, you will get the result, even if it's only the grade:bigyello:

Standard Grades are only in Scotland. Which i'm guessing you are in as I have recently done this paper for my exam too. I wouldn't mind knowing the answers either. Will definately be keeping an eye on this thread!! :thumb:
Re: Simple Trig, Algebra, etc.
Yeah sorry Scotland. Best country in the world. Except Japan.... Lol!
Anyway thanks for the quick responses. Keep them coming!

Someone? Please? Mathinator has got me all excited here with this. I would love to know the answers. The best I could do is compare it to my friends. Professionals doing this would be brilliant!

Show us what you have come up with to solve those question, and then (and only then) there might be somebody willing to help!

Re: Simple Trig, Algebra, etc.
This is the answers that I have. Sorry about the terrible writing.
Edit: Ill just mention that for question two you should ignore the brackets above and to the right of the question (i forgot to remove them) and to find the answer I used the quadratic equation:
˙˙˙˙̀̀-b±((b^2-4ac)^0.5)
x = ---------------------
˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ 2a
I will also say that I am 99% sure that the last question was iteration but I couldn't remember how to go about doing that correctly so made up my own version. :)
