I have 3 riddles for you. It requires thinking and common sense, do your best :).
Poor people have a lot of it, rich people have none of it, and you will die if you don't eat it.
Two coins (and only 2) make up 55¢. One of them is not a nickel.
An animal (mammal), when it is born, it walks on four legs. During it's life, it walks on two legs. As it reaches old age, it will most likely walk on three legs. What is the animal (mammal)?
-
Nothing. (it's meant to be you will die if you eat it)
Don't know what a nickel is, but I'm guessing it's either 50 cents or 5 cents. They are a 50 cents coin and a 5 cents coin.
I'll have to think about the third.
-
The third is a human:
Baby - 4 legs
Life - Adult, 2 legs
Elderly - 2 legs & walking stick
-
Humans? (baby, adult, OAP with walking stick)
-
It was the third leg that confused me, I mean not everyone is as well endowed as me ;)

Harry,
these are the american coins:
Penny - 1¢
Nickel - 5¢
Dime - 10¢
Quarter - 25¢
50¢ piece - 50¢
-
Nickel and 50c piece. Since one's not a nickel, then one is - since there are two coins :)

HarryW (it's meant to be you will die if you eat it)..this is wrong. If you don't eat nothing, you'll die.
parksie, very good, it is a human.
When a human is born, it is a baby crawling on all fours.
Than it learns to walk, and walks on two's.
And after, it gets old, and may need a walking stick.
And for the nickel, that is good as well.
Two coins make up 55¢, one of them is not a nickel.
So the other one has to be a nickel and the one that is not a nickel is a half dollar :).
If I find more, I'll post.
Very smart, guys :).
Didn't think anyone would've gotten them for a while.

if you eat it you will die replacing it with nothing and it becomes: if you eat nothing you will die...
-
Matt, that's a double negative. If you don't eat nothing, then you eat something.
