activex control questions...

hi,

I have 2 questions regarding activex control:

1.) Is there a way on how I can check if a certain activex control is registered or not in the system registry of the client pc, programmatically.

PS: the container application for the activex control is written in ASP.Net and the code-behind is visual basic.

2.) Is there also a way in which I can make a certain web control (for example a button in ASP.net) to be set to Visible =True, once my activex control has been loaded in the page?
