3 women, 3 passions, 3 hobbies. Mix and match them and tell me I'm wrong.
I was drinking (yeah, i'm drunk but i think i'm right) and really thought about it. Life only grants you 3 pivitol moments. The rest you take.
From those three, you may skip 1 or 2 and live in resent... You may force yourself to take a 4th (as a replacement), but still think about the predecessor. The reason you forced yourself was because you skipped out on one moment (lived with resent and realized it post-fact). In retrospect, it's merely a replacement for one, but you don't want to think that. You stake your claim in the next best.
Irregardless, life will only ever pass you three moments. Know yourself and cherish the ones you feel most comfortable with.

Sorry man, I wasn't trying to bring the world down. It was just an observation. I've been drinking Jack and Coke's since noon (it's 5pm) and decided to take a break and rest on my bed for a moment (yeah, I literally have laptop on my bed where things like a wife or prostitute should be; or maybe a second pillow to ease my neck and give me good leverage to drink another beer in bed), and I posted this.
Don't feel bad peeps, this is a good thread about embracing. When you feel right, take it, make it happen and really run with it. The worst thing in life isn't humiliation or regret.... It's resent. The idea that because you didn't do something haunts you with "what ifs."

Exactly. I know I'm only 19, but someone in a higher place has decided that my life is going to move at light speed. High school diploma, college experience, Army experience, and now I'm working full time in a field that normally only experts get in... and I've already passed the ultimate beauty. I'm haunted by it every night... some stupid mistakes on my part and I've already lost something I'll never find again...

The nice thing about fate and beauty is that we as mere humans can't comprehend what life is capable of offering to us. We pass one thing and might resent it, but better things could easily follow. And those things we pass up could easily be precursors to things that work out even better - the others are just moments and ideologies that force us to suffer to really appreciate the things we really need.
