Irc help. Sending an Ident?

How do you respond to a ident request? What is the packet format? I tried Sending (winsock1.LocalPort + ", 6667 : USERID : UNIX : high6") to the server after it said "Checking Ident..." But that didnt work. Anyone know?

I'm not sure of IdentD (also called Auth) protocol, but the port number is 113. This is the RFC. This is a Perl implementation.
