I don't know how easy this is to do but would it be possible to get mathml, or some other way of representing maths expressions for the new (and much welcomed) maths forum, I don't know how difficult it would be but at the moment it's very hard to read maths expressions when they're just typed especially with maths at A level and higher standard where some of the symbols you nead just aren't there.
I don't know what the best solution is, but if something could be rigged up it'd be really handy.

Parksie suggested LaTex (or something sounding like that) a few weeks ago, I think that's more or less the same thing.

MathML is markup which seems to me to be a lot harder to code than the LaTeX equation facilities. However, it's easier to auto-generate from a WYSIWYG tool.
LaTeX looks something like this:
Code:
$z = y \times \frac{6^x}{\sqrt{y}}$
...which produces:

Copy and paste it into a new browser window...they seem to have something against external links.
I would have used UKLinux.Net but they seem to be down at the moment.
