I have no familiarity with UNIX systems, is there anyway to just copy a database out of a UNIX system to a Windows based system, both the UNIX sytem and the Windows system are on the same network, I do have to write an App. to access this database but it's not a problem if i have to manually copy the database out on occassion, it only gets updated once a month or so.
I'm not sure what kind of database it is because i haven't had a chance to look things over myself yet, but i was told it was ODBC compliant, i'm just hoping to get a "head's up" before i go in there.
Or if i have to write a small app. to do this , where do i start?
