Actually we have a Moderator for the C# forum, Hack, and yes John helps out on allot of .NET threads. Currently we have a full team of mods. When the needs arises Mod selection is handled by the mod staff. :)
The best way to handle duplicate threads, either from user or forums software errors, is to pm a mod about it or to use the Report Post icon and it will be taken care of. ;)
Edit: Johns notice of duplicate thread has been deleted so your link wil now be broken.
Thanks sir
but what you think that some moderator are irregular on forums.

You need a degree in diplomacy.

There are a lot of people who are very helpful on this forum that would make great moderators in addition to the keen staff we already have. In time, I'm sure some of them will be asked as existing moderators get too busy with other work or as we expand into new areas that need new moderators!Quote:

Logic would dictate that you become an admin immediately.Quote:

As Brad said, when there is a need to moderate a particular section that warrants adding a new moderator, someone who is helpful in that particular section is likely to be considered. If you help a lot in every forum, then you're likely to be considered for any positions that come up. :)Quote:

Penagate answered this, but I wanted to add... most of our moderators are setup up to be able to review all forums. That allows us to have cross over and backups. Even with that, when an specific area is light in mod coverage we tend to look for someone active in that area. Being helpful across the forum simply means that more mods are likely to have seen your name and your posts and thus are more likely to give a nod of approval should your name come up for an area.Quote:
