C++

hey all!

I'm an avid Visual Basic user. My uncle gave me an old copy of Visual C++ 5.0 for Christmas. However, I have NO idea how to start using it. Can anyone suggest a good website (i.e. http://www.vb-world.net or http://www.vbsquarwe.com/) which is informative for the beginner, is easy to understand, and has lots of cool projects (like the mentioned websites)?
