Report Templates ??

Hi all . . . :)

I want to make some customizations with reports in my application, and considering to make report templates, but i don't know how to make and apply report templates and view my report base on the templates ??

is there any samples i could use to learn ? or links maybe ?

i'm using VB 6.0

What is your reporting going to be made in? Crystal reports, acess reports, etc.

For report tool i'm using Data Dynamics ( Active Report ) ... is there any samples i could use to achieve my purposes, without caring is that i'm using Crystal, Data Report etc ?
Because maybe i could use them all as my report tool.
The logic how to do it correctly ???

I havent used active reports before. Have you tried searching if any are installed with the product or on the manufacturers website for download?

Thanks, i do google and find some interesting ways to achieve. Like i said before , i'm not caring about the report tool - just need some concept to do it - and the report tool will be the last thing to consider :)
