I'm fed up of paying for Sky satellite tv each month and wondered if anyone could suggest a system that would be free by receiving signals off other satellites?
Any suggestions? :afrog:

Well, satellite channels are scrambled, so you'd need a decoder box, which is what you pay for.
There are "free" ways, but they're illegal. ;)

this seemed interesting
Yeah, there are some free-to-air satellite channels as well. The majority are subscription, though.
I'm sure they're happy receiving BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV 1, ITV 2, ITV 3 and The Golf Channel.Quote:

I concur, cheers.
It's all because of his m0d status.
It depends what you want. If you have an Old larger style satellite like we used to point at Astra along with decoder you can point it at many satelites all totally legal. Many people I knoe are tuned into the Hotbird satellite which allows them to receive shed loads of English football using a Greek set of stations which they pay a one off annual keycard fee for.
