Sorry about that. Posts from brand new members are placed in a moderation queue for review by our moderators before being allowed to be seen. You should be able to see one of your posts now. I deleted the other one since it appeared to be a duplicate.
Ah, my mistake. I thought about that but I figured that the sheer size of this forum would make such attempts too much of a strain on the mods and discarded that theory.
It's a new feature that was acquired when we recently upgraded to a more recent version of our underlying vBulletin software. The reason for the feature is that it is common for people to join solely for the purposes of posting spam and the new feature makes it relatively easy to spot and take care of.
How many posts before a new member becomes a regular poster without moderation?
I believe the 3rd post goes through without moderation.
