Hi,
Thank you for the help. I will try to examine the dependency file.
Meanwhile here is list of all the files which I have included in the installation package.
1. Application .exe (the application executive)
2. ActiveX.dep
3. ActiveX .ocx
4. MFC42U.dll
5. MFC40.dll
6. OLEAUT32.dll
7. OLEPRO32.dll
8. COMCAT.dll
9. ASTCFILT.dll
10. MSVCRT40.dll
11. CTL3D32.dll
Please note that I have developed the application in Visual Basic Version 6.0 and the ActiveX control in Visual C++ (Version 6.0) using MFC.
I would like to know which version of .ocx file should I distribute , the ReleaseU ,Release or the Debug version. Also the ActiveX control works only in Debug version.
I would also like know if there are any other files apart from the ones you have mentioned and the Dependency file for the control ,that I must include in the package.
With best regards
Barnabas
