New rep setup?

Maybe I missed a thread about this... I haven't been on for long enough to notice any changes in quite a while.

Anyway, about the new rep thing... I'm not sure I like it. Jumping to another page seems like a clumsy way of the older method of the little pop-up. For those with less-than-photographic memories, the pop-up was nice as it allowed the rater to still have the post in question in front of them.

And why the heck can CC posts be rated again?!? That's just asking for bogus points all over the place... half of us will rate just to say we did... no more... not implying that I'm one of them, of course...

Any CC Reps will be deleted when the Admins get to that part of the finishing touches from the upgrade. It is not something that will be left this was.

Yoda speak much sense did not make there, but i still liked the pop-up rep box better...

There shouldn't be any pop-ups anywhere.

You'll notice once you commit the post rating you're taken back to where you were.

Yes, you currently can give reps in Chit Chat. That happened during the recent upgrade and will be changed in the near future. Until then please don't give reps for Chit Chat posts.

Rep rating link is now gone from Chit Chat.

Rep'ing chit chat posts is now not allowed, thus doing so violates admin requests.
