Outsourcing

We are planning to oursource one of our project in terms of development. What are some of the questions that needs to be pointed out with the outsourcing company.

Also, does anyone have a site that shows the industrial coding standards?

This is something best left to the managers, but one thing you do want to make sure is that they're not undershooting. In other words, if you ask them how long they think they'll take, they might give you a shorter amount of time than they would ideally take, in order to attract your business. While they can get the work done in that amount of time, the rush causes sloppy code and practices.
