How do i do Data Validation in MS Excel?

You could also explain how to copy the List to any number of cells.

For example:
Select the range of cells you would like the List to be applied to and then do the above example.

By dragging the cell with the Data Validation across or down to however many cells you want it to apply to.

A great example of something fairly simple, but SO SO useful. :bigyello:

This is absolutely easy. I have already explained how to create a list above.

Now lets say the validation list is in Cell A1 and you want to have the same validation in the Range D1:F10. All you need to do is

1) Select Cell A1.
2) Copy it by pressing 'Ctrl-C'.
3) Highlight the entire range i.e. D1:F10
4) Paste using press 'Ctrl-V'.

You will see that all the cells in D1:F10 will inherit that list :)
