It's a bad idea to allow people to take photos right next to carnivorous animals.

I'm mean ... seriously ***? At what point did the Zoo keepers, and the patrons think this is a good idea?

That Darwin was really on to something...

Why would you kill a tiger that was acting like a tiger?

Because it attacked humans. Some people take offense at that, me not included. Some people deserve to be attacked, although in this case those people were the guys who created the photo service, not the little girl who was killed.

If i were the tiger ,i would go for the mother for meat reasons.

When I was working in the Everglades, my boss told me about being up at one of the ponds along the main road through the park. A couple came up and asked him where they could see an alligator. Since he happened to know that there was an alligator at that pond that always hung around waiting for people to toss it food, poodles, etc., he told them to go look behind a certain bush, then he went back to what he was doing. A few moments later, he looked up, as the couple was sending their young child over to pose with the gator. He stopped them in time.

I suspect that many more people get away with doing stupid things, and we only hear about the ones that don't.
