Printer question

There are two printers hooked up on this computer... after a bit of research, I've determined that the problem I'm finding is that the status monitors aren't compatible...

Could someone explain to me how to disable the monitor for the HP LaserJet? I've looked around and can't find it...

Unplug printer, then uninstall the printer.

Then connect your printer and let windows install the driver dont the printer software. If the drivers are left on the system you wont have to reinstall it, just plug your printer in.
