Want to build a core 2 duo system but... Vista....

I like building new computer systems and love to custimize a new system to my liking. I want to build a Core 2 Duo System, and use Vista on it. Should I wait for future tech until more dx10 vid cards are out and affordable or what? I don't want to upgrade and not be able to play future games for vista.

What would you suggest? I am interested in hearing what others would do.

Well.. I would wait a month or two. Not so much for the cards.. but for the drivers.

There are issues right now that actually make the same games run slower on vista than on XP. Plus.. give it a few months to be hacked so that there is a patch out LOL
