help coding timer & command button to make shapes appear on the form randomly

i know how to do the circle...i dont know how to creat lines though... :confused:

How are you showing a circle? If you tell us (and preferably show us the code you have) then we can show you a similar method of creating a line - rather than confusing you with something different!

One way (which may be completely different to what you want) is to use the Line Method, which is explained well in VB's help.
