I am currently developing an information and fault reporting system for my company. At present I have been using MS InterDev 6.0 ASP, HTML, XML, XSLT, and Javascript. No Cookies are needed, as Session variables are used throughout.
A customer requires this to run on WebTV, with the Linux-based Open Embedded Internet Operating System.
Can anyone tell me any problems 9features) which I should be aware of, and the syntax for detecting the browser (I assume is not Netscape ot IE) so I can serve the correctly formatted content via ASP?
I understand that the supported screen res is 640 * 520 pixels, so I will neet to output html in a fixed width for vertical scrolling.
Is the Linux Internet OS 'XML aware'?
Does the Linux Internet OS support Frames?
I hope someone has the answers, as the first demo box has just been ordered?
Thanx ;)
