Hello Friends
I am using the asp.net menu control
I have put the menu in the master page.
In the entire project apart from the menu there is nothing that is common in all the pages.
Am I doing the right thing?? should i be instead using .js file or some thing else?? please Help
Does adding Master page decrease efficiency or speed?

Master pages give your site consistent look . Save you a lot of time too...short answer is yes that's right....I don't think master pages has any flaws regarding speed or efficiency.The whole application is compiled but before that , master pages' code is injected into the content pages on the server..
What makes you think something is wrong with this approach? Of course it's a good approach.
