IR Remote for different app

Hi,

does anyone know of an IR Remote that can be programmed to keyboard shortcuts? This app requires no Keyboard/mouse, and minimal user intervention. In fact all they need to do is "watch" the screen, and the IR Remote is just used for minor settings adjustments and shutdown/exit.
