Make the attached image appear in my post... If i added two images to the attachments how would i get one to show where i want it to? Like my sorry attempt with the IMG tags?

Your image does show in the post. :)

Go into your "User CP", click Edit Options then click Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code). :thumb:

I know it shows, i mean i want it to show between the IMG tags like other people seem to manage with attached files.

oh, do the opposite...go into your "User CP", click Edit Options then untick Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code).

You need to use the address of the attachment, rather than the file name it had when it was on your computer.

To find the address you unfortunately need to submit the post first, but then you can right-click on the attachment to get the address (in this case http://www.vbforums.com/attachment.p...id=52897&stc=1 ), and then edit your post to put that between the IMG tags.

You don't need to submit it first, just add the attachment using the Manage Attachemnts popup and then copy the link URL when it shows up on the New Post page.

In vBulletin 3.5+ there is also a BB tag to show the attachment at a particular place in your post, rather than at the bottom.

Oh yes.. I hadn't noticed that before! :blush:

Google for Royale Noir, it's an official XP theme, MS signed and all :)

And i was on about the BB tag... Seems we're not on VB 3.5+ though.

I thought it looked familiar. I am using Royale Blue at the moment.

Haha :p Perosnally use Royale at home, i only use Royale Noir at college because we're not meant to be able to change themes =P
