Probably the best thing to do is to set a goal, simple for starters, and work through it as far as you can. When you run into a problem, post a specific question up here and we'll help you figure it out.
You can also use the Object Browser....
Go to menu View>>Object Browser, or simply press F2. You can find all methods, functions and properties descriptions that VB and your project's objects has to offer. That's mostly how i learned my way around VB :) Browse through it and when you'll find some interesting method/function (perhaps the one that you need) take a look at what it does, what is/are it's argument/s and try to use it ;)
When you'll get stuck, come back
And good lock!! :thumb:
I don't knw if your aware but vb6 is on it way out of the industry so if you intend on getting a job in vb you might want to consider learning .net instead of vb6. There is less demand for vb6 programmers as we all know, and it will only decrease with time.
True. But that proccess will take a lot of time and will even increase if VB6 will be fully supported in Vista (doubt it but anyways) and will not happen in few months as MS thought.Quote:

In my country VB6 is more or less something like .NET... if you concider job listings. Don't know about others though.
Take a look at this forum for example (not that it matters, but still). Classic section is usually more visited then .NET...
