I am doing a final project for a VB class @school, many classmates have decided on doing games.
My dilema:what should I do my project on? A game,a catalog?
Please share your ideas with me- what kind of program/game?
*If possible, please give some code to start with or code for the tough aspets of the program.

Scrolling Shooters are always easy to make :)

To start a game the first you have to do is think what type of game are you going to make...
For movement you could use the BltBit Api or if you are less advanced use the left and top properties to move an object.

You could write the game Snake/Nibbles or pong. I am guessing but school students don't really right anything major they usually keep to this sort of programming level.
Catalogue what would that be on?
You could try writing a stock control program?
How much of Visual Basic do you know & understand???
