Linux does a whole lot better at identifying USB devices than certain other operating systems I won't mention (Microsoft Windows). Thing is that a PalmIIIx is a serial port device and therefore is not autodetected when plugged into a USB-Serial adaptor (no OS in the world autodetects serial devices without pre-installed active drivers.Quote:
