[Resolved] Why would a VB forum insult VB programmers? [Please close this thread!]
In the ads above, "Top 11 Reasons to Become a Visual Basic Programmer"
Which goes here: http://bbspot.com/News/2006/09/top-1...rogrammer.html
That link is in poor taste. I can see it appropriate for Chit-Chat, not as an actual piece of VBWire news. :ehh:

Re: Why would a VB forum insult VB programmers?
The VBWire page quotes "You can quit your job and double your salary every couple of years..." which doesn't even appear in the article.

It's gone now. Please close this thread! If I had shoulders, I would shrug right now.

The VBWire news items are not ads that we post (No money for the "company" from that). Rather, it is links and newsfeeds related to Visual Basic that are posted to VBWire. As such, it can contain articles, press releases, and more. Obviously we don't have to agree with all of them.
(If you post a good article in the forum, should be able to go to VBWire and submit a link to it. In that case, it would show up as a title on the above list at some point :).
Brad!

I didn't know that, but that sounds great.
