LZW compression problem

i'm using the lzw compression for my vb project, but it's seems doesn't workout as underlies the term compress. i've applied some code using class in my vb project, but when i run it out, the file produced (i mean the size) much more bigger than the original ones. could someone please help me how to solve this?

any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks. :(
